Introduction

In this series, I’ll be sharing my journey into the world of machine learning. I’ll be sharing my experiences, challenges, and learnings as I embark on this journey.

The objective of this series

For joy. I have yet to record my journey publicly and thought this might be a good idea.

I have close to 4 years of experience in software engineering, and felt that having machine learning knowledge would be a good asset to have. I’m purely attempting to learning machine learning for the sake of building more exciting projects. That in itself is a good enough reason for me. I’m trying not to make it all about ROI. Just pure fun in learning.

How will this series be structured?

I’ll be using the TinyTorch module from MLSys book which teaches us to build TinyTorch from scratch.

Naturally, a bunch of questions will appear in terms of my lack of knowledge in machine learning. I’ll be documenting my journey and learning process here.
